Evaluation: face-to-face Regular Courses Level 2
Assessment is continuous and will be gradually done throughout each and every one of the sessions of the term. Formally, the final oral and written grades on Inspira will be based on 2 end-of-unit projects (two orals, two writtens), that will provide the teacher with tangible data about the student's progress. Missing one or the two of the end-of-unit projects may result in not passing the course. There are no “final exams”.
Only end-of-unit projects that respect the deadlines will be taken into consideration for the final grade on Inspira. In case of conflict between your calendar and the scheduled time or deadline for an end-of-unit project, it is your responsibility to inform your teacher in writing in advance. Your teacher may then be able to offer you an alternative if possible.
In addition to the two mandatory end-of-unit projects, more activities may be deemed necessary at any time by your teacher to gather enough data about a specific student or group.
To successfully pass the course students need a minimum passing score of 65 points out of 100 in both the written and the oral grades on Inspira. The grading points are as follows:
Outstanding or Excellent= 95 points Very good= 80 points Pass= 65 points Fail= 60 points
If you need to be absent from the class sessions for longer than three sessions due to health or work reasons, notify your teacher as this can have an impact on your evaluation. Spanish instructors present a variety of flexible solutions to support learners. Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask your teacher.
